Reference

The Parkside Lunatic Asylum, now known as Glenside Health Services, was established in 1870. It was originally opened to accommodate patients transferred from the overcrowded Adelaide Lunatic Asylum. Over the years, it underwent several name changes, becoming the Parkside Mental Hospital in 1913 and later Glenside Hospital in 1967.
